Scripture With Me ("we", "us", or "our") is a Christian prayer, journaling, and Bible companion app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it to be clear and honest, because the things you share with Scripture With Me — your prayers, reflections, and spiritual life — are deeply personal.
Information we collect
- Prayers and journal entries. When you write a prayer, save a journal entry, or record a reflection, that content is stored so the app can show it back to you and track your activity over time.
- AI interactions. When you use AI features (such as generating a prayer or asking a Bible question), the text you submit is sent to our AI processing provider to create a response. We do not use your prayers or questions to train AI models.
- Account information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a basic identifier and, where you allow it, your name and email so we can keep your account and content associated with you.
- Usage and device data. We may collect limited technical information (such as app version, device type, and crash diagnostics) to keep the app stable and improve it.
How we use your information
- To provide core features: generating prayers, answering Bible questions, and saving your journal and verses.
- To personalize your experience, such as streaks, reminders, and tailored prayers.
- To process subscriptions and verify entitlements through Apple.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
AI features and disclaimer
Scripture With Me uses artificial intelligence to generate prayers, reflections, and responses to Bible questions. AI-generated content can be imperfect and is not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral guidance, professional counseling, or emergency services. Always use your own discernment.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the app — such as cloud hosting, AI processing, and authentication — and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
Your prayers, journal entries, and saved verses are kept until you delete them or delete your account. When you delete your account, we remove your associated content from our active systems.
Your choices and rights
- You can edit or delete individual prayers, journal entries, and saved verses at any time.
- You can delete your account from within the app, which removes your associated data.
- You can manage notifications and Face ID / app lock in Settings.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Children's privacy
Scripture With Me is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
